I call myself a "recovering attorney." After years of billable hours, sleepless nights preparing briefs, law firm politics, and not watching my family grow up, I happily walked away from being an attorney.
However, I maintain my membership in good standing with the California Bar Association which I worked very hard to achieve. I have earned a BS from UCLA, a JD (juris doctor) from Seattle University, and an LLM (legal masters) in tax law from the University of Washington, Seattle. I moved back to Southern California after receiving my two law degrees. I worked as a tax attorney in a variety of firms, but that lifestyle was just not for me.
I prefer, now, to work in the capacity as Legal Document Assistant and notary public since paperwork is second nature to me, and details matter. As your Legal Document Assistant, I may not offer legal services or legal advice. However, my years of law school preparation and my practice as an attorney make me uniquely qualified to prepare the array of legal documents that my clients may need correctly and with expediency.
